What's everyone's thoughts on the Leafs trade today?
Well I have to think it will tonight they add forwards for the future and maybe one or two on July 1st
It seems like a steal when you think about the fact the used a pick from the Kaberle trade to get him
A number one center isn't easy to pick up and I have to think Burke is waiting for the right guy. I don't know brad Richards is that guy.

Well that will depend on the Leafs progression next season
Ottawa wouldn't be a surprise to move the 6th pick and maybe philly at the 8th but i highly doubt Holmgren makes another move. Mika Zibanejad is Flyers type of player. Big power forward with a lot of skill
Sounds like the Ryan Smyth deal is almost done and he's heading back to Oil country
Sorry you're correct Justin will most likely be a late 2nd rounder. Yeah Brule could be a part of it and most likely a couple picks! really just a salary dump for the Kings

Talked to Landeskog at the prospects game this year. Very mature kid, that is the most NHL ready in the entire draft class
Going to interesting to see if Florida takes Larsson. Selected Erik Gudbranson 3rd overall last year. Do they want another defenceman?
Correct Justin! I still like Larsson more. I know they need offence but they just passed up on a very talented blueliner

Strome is talented, but not NHL ready and did nothing against the Majors in the eastern conference finals. I like Hamilton more
